ALEXANDRA PLAZA DONATES BLANKETS TO FAMILIES IN NEED AFTER RECENT FIRE
Alexandra Plaza is committed to education and community upliftment in Alexandra and is actively involved in the community through CSI projects focused on education and community upliftment. A recent fire in the Organic Market settlement in Alexandra destroyed informal housing affecting 20 people on Thursday the 16th of April.
On behalf of Alexandra Plaza, a donation of blankets was made to the families in need. Alexandra Plaza Centre Manager, Sizwe Mngomezulu, facilitated the handover to the recipients who were very grateful for the donation. The handover was supported by the South African Police Services, the Democratic Alliance’s Ward Councillor, community leaders and the local media.
